Sara Wainstein
Sara Wainstein is a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Group Analyst working full time in private practice. She offers individual and group analytic therapy and supervision.
Sara’s initial training was as a Drama and Movement Therapist and she is a Training Group Analyst at the Institute of Group Analysis where she was part of a team responsible for clinical services over many years.
Sara was an honorary psychotherapist in the Non-Recent Sexual Abuse team in the Trauma Unit at the Tavistock and Portman Trust. She has experience over 25 years working in the NHS in adult psychotherapy, psycho-dermatology and the perinatal parent infant mental health service as well as in private practice, charitable organisations and further education.
Sara has a special interest in early relational trauma including the body’s communication of unprocessed trauma.
